Oh So Comfy

There’s something to be said about comfort. It’s something that should be treasured. For those who wear suits and a tie all day,  and women who wear dress clothes and high heel shoes all day as well. There’s nothing like coming home, kicking off your shoes and shedding the uncomfortable work day. Luckily I’m working a job I can wear comfortable clothes and sneakers or clogs. Once in a while my outfit calls for stack heeled boots. It’s all good.

It’s all good because when I get home I shed the day’s outfit and grab my cozy and comfy clothes. My wardrobe consists of four or five pairs of jeans which I despise. I have over 15 pair of leggings, oversized shirts, flip flops, flats, knee high boots with boot toppers, and sneakers. Truth be told I have 4 pairs of slippers I wear all of the time. I have been known to wear them next door to the store too!

My comfort clothes are usually a pair of leggings, a large t-shirt, fluffy socks and an added oversized sweater or hoodie if it’s chilly. Sometimes I end up with fuzzy flannel pajama bottoms or sweat pants. Note that the sweat pants and pajama bottoms are for when I don’t have to go anywhere and I’m not expecting company. During the summer it’s tank tops and girlie boxer shorts.

I’m big on comfort and if I had my way I’d wear my comfy clothes to work, running errands too. But I kind of feel exposed on a “slobby” appearance in public. Sometimes when I’m not feeling good, there’s an exception to the rule.

So what are your comfort – cozy clothes?
