Sneak Peak – My Scripture Journal

My scripture journal is pretty simple/basic and it’s something I find myself jumping into and working in a lot when I have even a moment to spend in the bible. Basic set up for me is:

First Page I had some fun with water colors and a stencil.

Second is a page where I listed what S.O.A.P. is.

Another page I did with watercolor and a stencil.

I then made a list of Journal prompts that I got from Modern Mary for Prov 31.  Scripture Writing Plan for the [modern] Proverbs 31 Woman

Then I wrote down the Prompts for Your First 30 Days of Prayer Journaling that I was inspired to do from Modern Mary.

I also put a Thanksgiving box. Some call it a Happy Box or Grattitude Box. This is where each day I write one thing I am thankful for on that day.

Then the rest is S.O.A.P. scripture study. I actually organized my pages so when I write I can flip anywhere to find a certain topic and find the day I wrote it, the page set up is pretty much minimal.

Book – Chapter & Verse   Day # and Title of Prompt

That’s pretty much what I’ve done with it. There will be pages as I just read through the bible that a verse will strike me and I’ll put it in the journal… but right now the prompts are what I’m using to get a start.

I hope my sneak peeks inspire someone to get creative with their journals or notebooks and turn them into something to are thrilled to write in!

Now I’m off to watch Spiderwick and then it’s slumber time!

God Bless and Protect!
